I honestly didn’t expect to laugh this hard but The Naked Gun (2025) completely surprised me. From the very first scene, it throws you into pure chaos and never lets up. Every single gag hits and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a comedy this confident in being absolutely ridiculous.
What I loved the most is that it never slows down, joke after joke after joke. It felt like the filmmakers actually cared about making comedy cinematic again, not just throwing in random improv lines and calling it a day. There’s a rhythm to it, and it’s sharp.
This might sound over the top, but I genuinely think it’s the best comedy of the year. It’s dumb in all the right ways, clever when it needs to be and full of energy.
I can’t even explain how funny Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are in this. If this is the kind of comedies we’re getting in 2025, I’m all in!
