Nobody 2 is okay. It’s watchable but definitely not as good as the first film.

The fights are fine, the story is predictable and while I didn’t hate it, I also didn’t feel the same spark I did with the original.

Still, Odenkirk is Odenkirk, he makes Hutch fun to watch. But halfway through, I couldn’t help thinking: imagine Saul Goodman jumping in mid-shootout.

The pacing doesn’t help either. There are stretches where it feels like the film is just waiting for the next fight scene to kick in. It almost feels like the film is afraid to try something new. That’s the thing with sequels, right? Nobody 2 doesn’t really do either. It just repeats the formula, which is fine if you’re looking for background entertainment, but not great if you were hoping for a sequel that builds on the first.

As it is, Nobody 2 is the kind of sequel you throw on at home, enjoy with some snacks and then move on. Not bad, just… ok.
