Some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen. The most thing I don’t like about films is when a film have a good idea that can turn out to be great and someone thinks that just an idea is enough to make a good film.

I felt at some point that there was no story or scenario, from the start till the end I felt it was all improvised. The ending is a proof of it.

What makes it even more frustrating is that you can see traces of something interesting underneath. The core idea could have been turned into a strong emotional story, but the execution destroys every bit of potential. Scenes go on for too long, the dialogue feels empty, and the actors seem like they’re guessing their lines as they go.

The cinematography tries to compensate with atmosphere, but even that feels disconnected from what’s happening. A few nice shots can’t save a film when the heart of it (story and performance) is missing.

By the time it ends, you don’t feel closure, you feel relief that it’s over. It’s the kind of film that reminds you how important writing and direction are, and that a good idea alone is never enough. You walk out thinking about what it could have been, not what it is.
