• Patricia Arquette – Severance as Harmony Cobel (Apple TV+)

  • Carrie Coon – The White Lotus as Laurie Duffy (HBO)

  • Katherine LaNasa – The Pitt as Charge Nurse Dana Evans (HBO Max)

  • Julianne Nicholson – Paradise as Samantha “Sinatra” Redmond (Hulu)

  • Parker Posey – The White Lotus as Victoria Ratliff (HBO)

  • Natasha Rothwell – The White Lotus as Belinda Lindsey (HBO)

  • Aimee Lou Wood – The White Lotus as Chelsea (HBO)

What the Experts Predict:

  • Los Angeles Times highlights Patricia Arquette as the frontrunner, calling her performance “icy, layered, and unforgettable” in Severance.

  • Entertainment Weekly points to Julianne Nicholson, noting she has the best dramatic material in Paradise and could ride that series’ strong buzz.

  • Vanity Fair stresses The White Lotus factor: Parker Posey’s sharp satire and Natasha Rothwell’s return both make them strong contenders if voters go Lotus-heavy.

In summary:

Arquette feels like the favourite, but Nicholson is the serious challenger.

My Prediction:

I’m going with Patricia Arquette. She’s a past Emmy winner, and her steely, unsettling Cobel remains one of Severance’s defining characters.

If I Had the Vote:

I’d give mine to Katherine LaNasa. She turned Charge Nurse Dana Evans in The Pitt into more than just background—mixing grit, empathy, and edge in every scene. It’s one of those under-the-radar performances that deserves recognition.
